This is the official website/blog for Harker Fem! We are a club at The Harker School in San Jose, California, made up of high school students dedicated to raising awareness for women’s rights and fighting for female empowerment.

We hope to actively work against defeating stereotypes against women and influence others to do the same! Our club meetings focus on discussing important topics relevant to the progression of women in our society and their treatment in different cultures around the world today.

The main purpose of our site is to post notes and links from our meetings as a recap for anyone who wasn’t able to make it, and to share information, ideas, and opinions about women and their role in the media, the workplace, the community, and anywhere else!

We are accepting guest submissions for op-eds, prose, or any other piece regarding women’s rights that you would like to be published.
